We had a light run this week compared to the last 3 weeks. Market was steady this week on packer cows and feeder cows. Not many bulls to test the market. Great set of claves this week but were mainly fresh calves with out much condition which reflected in price. The value added calves stayed strong.

Packer cows were cheaper this week across the board $5-$10.

Demand continues to weaken on packer cows as numbers increase. Should see some improvement in the market in a few weeks. Lite run of calves with no test. Lots of good calves coming this week with probably 250 older bred cows this week . Be 300-350 good calves.

So lots of crazy stuff going on in the cattle world. I really do not have the words for all of it. To think that this President is going to fix the price of beef while it continues to stay the same price at the store. But all we can do is survive this rollercoaster we have rode many times. Packer cow market was $8-$10cheaper on lean cows as demand weakens. Lots of dry country and lots of cows moving to town. Calf market was all over the place depending on weigh up and quality. At least $10 cheaper in places but steady in others. Plainer cattle down $15-$20. Here are some top sellers.
